Manitowoc County Airport is a county owned, public use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of the central business district of Manitowoc, a city in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, United States.〔 It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility.〔 〕 == Facilities and aircraft == Manitowoc County Airport covers an area of 414 acres (168 ha) at an elevation of 651 feet (198 m) above mean sea level. It has two asphalt paved runways: 17/35 is 5,001 by 100 feet (1,524 x 30 m) and 7/25 is 3,341 by 100 feet (1,018 x 30 m).〔 For the 12-month period ending September 10, 2009, the airport had 26,100 aircraft operations, an average of 71 per day: 96% general aviation, 4% air taxi, and <1% military. At that time there were 63 aircraft based at this airport: 86% single-engine, 13% multi-engine, and 2% jet.〔 The Manitowoc (MTW) VOR/DME is located on field. (Lakeshore Aviation ) was the fixed base operator (FBO) until 11/30/2013.
